The Macbeth Writing Tribe had their last class of the year today . . . And in their true style, it was fun, filled with camaraderie, laughter 😂 stories, exchanging presents, and they did some reflective writing too.

I would take this creative tribe with me everywhere if I could. I’m never short of a story, of laughter and stimulating and inspiring conversations.

As I watch the Macbeth Writing Tribe and the Irish Centre Writing Tribe tackle the writing prompts I give them, I feel good 😊 and I’m left inspired at how they step up to the page and produce thought-provoking prose, narratives, poetry and even quotes and affirmations.

We tackled 3am thoughts in the Writing for Well-being session and early childhood memories in the Autobiography & Memoir Writing session.

I’m never left disappointed because most of the time these emerging writers step up to the challenge.

Can’t wait to see their works in an anthology

I’m proud of these budding writers, the Macbeth Adult Education Centre Writing Tribe.

They produce excellent pieces of works to the weekly prompts I give them.

One of the prompts today was ‘The memories in me’ and they took me on their journeys, rich in descriptions, humour, emotions and metaphors.

I’ve been privileged to watch and be present in their creative growth and literary development. I’m pushing for the education centre to host an exhibition of their writings, they so deserve it.

Yes, peeps, I was invited as the Co-founder of WILDE Hammersmith & Fulham Writers’ Festival to the University of West London’s CLBS Enterprise Expo.

I went along and met other innovative folks who run their own businesses, organisations & charities.

We were all interviewed by the business students, staffs, and judges (I was unaware that we were all being judged) who stopped by every stand for a banter about what we do.

I was totally shocked, surprised and eventually ecstatic to be awarded the overall winner of the business prize
for @wilde_foundation @hfwritersfest 🥇 🏆

Bring on the good times.

I’ve been doing this lately, having Friday evening vibes on a Tuesday evening and messing up my awareness of the week days 🤣🤣🤣

It was truly a wonderful evening spent with some of my writing tribe ✍🏾 ✍🏻✍🏽 great company, stimulating conversations, good vibes, laughter and the food wasn’t bad.

We got the chance to dine with @yogitravelclub Dr Edak who has been in London (she lives in Nigeria) writing her book, ‘If Menopause Was A Man.’

We can’t wait to read it.

These budding writers all have their creative goals in sight.

It’s all about completing a novel, a short story, a memoir or autobiography - and a few are working on a screenplay and we even have bloggers & future podcasters.

It’s great hanging out with this tribe. It’s a good life.
